Nick and I went on an overnight back packing trip with 3 of our friends on Friday night on Wolverine Peak Trail in Anchorage, Ak. We left around 8:30pm and our attempt was to make it up to the peak of the mountain and camp out there and head back down the next day but we were all tired so we stopped at the peak of a different mountain and camped out there overnight.

Here are some pictures of the view from where we camped. It overlooks downtown Anchorage and Cooks Inlet. It was about 10:30-11:00pm.

It was cloudy and sprinkled a little on us while we were up there. It was so cold we could see our breaths when we exhaled.

The next morning when we woke up, we intended to go to Wolverine Peak, but this is what it looked like when we got up. We were in the clouds. The picture above was the night before (there were clouds, but we weren't in the clouds and we could see downtown Anchorage), and the picture below was taken from the same spot, you just couldn't see 20 feet in front of you because of the clouds.

On our way back down you could see how it was sunny out in the ocean, but yet, it was cloudy where we were.

A picture of Nick and his friends...

There are so many pretty wild flowers... This is just one of them..
