Today a couple girls and I went to the Alyeska Wildberry Festival in Girdwood (about 30-40 minutes away from where we live). It was at the Alyeska Ski Resort and was suppose to have arts/crafts, music, contests, etc. They only had 5-7 booths with arts and craftsbut we still had fun. We got to see a few different glaciers in the mountains, we picked blueberries and raspberries, and on the drive along the Seward Highway (to and from the festival) we stopped along Turnagain Arm and got to see lots of beluga whales that were swimming back out to Cooks Inlet at the change of tides. I didn't take any pictures of the, just watched them all swimming. It was pretty cool.
This is a picture of the resort. I took it from where we were picking blueberries. We hiked up there from the resort where the festival was going on.

This was the second biggest of the glaciers that we saw there. I couldn't get a good picture of the biggest one.

Here is another picture of the same glacier.

Here are a couple pictures of all the blueberries and raspberries I picked! I feel like I got a pretty good amount!

This is Sarah, Lauren and me!
