When we first arrived to the lake, Nick wanted to go out a little in his fishing boots, but when he stepped in, he sunk down immediately to his waist, so he ended up taking those off and fishing from the land instead. Here is a funny picture:

Sand Lake, Alaska
Hey all-This is a small little lake in the middle of a neighborhood called Sand Lake. We went there on Sunday (July 6th) to go fishing and to get out of the house. We didn't catch anything (it is supposed to be stocked with pike and trout). We did get to see a couple of the small planes take off and land from the lake which was pretty cool.
